An update and Me needing to win a Craft Box!

Ok so its been QUITE a while since Ive updated last...

We had R&R and REALLY enjoyed it while it lasted... but it flew by just way too fast. and ever since Joe left back to Iraq its been hectic. It just seems like the days are just dragging on and going way too slow. But were one day closer to being with you my love! We have 5 months left of this deployment and absolutely cannot wait for it to be over with. We have great plans and are really hoping they work out for us and our family.

Tomorrow is my Twenty-First birthday and Im super excited! Braydey and I are going with my sister shopping tomorrow I desperately need to dye my hair and rescue it from the brown spots I have all over! That was from trying to dye my hair back to brown after it had been black for I dont know how long.... so back to black it is, but I want it like Blue Black. Then later on were going to dinner with my parents for my birthday at Baby Alcopulco so I can have a purple rita! lol Then this weeked were celebrating with my sister and some friends by going to have a Mexican Martini at Chuy's then down to Pete's Dueling Piano Bar so It should be a FUN week!

SO I realize that its been quite a while since I posted... Since the last time I posted... We have gotten a new a kitty... I think his name will be scamp... hes still kind of nameless.... lol.

Seems like I have been in and out of the dang doctor and I need to make an appointment first thing Monday morning. I was at my sister's house last night and like all of a sudden like out of no where it felt like my throat just like swelled up and it was painful to swallow. So my brother in law got a flashlight today and looked at my tonsils and sure enough they have little puss pockets on them... Sooo it seems like if its not one thing its another with me!

Today we went to a baby shower for a friend... she got some homemade goods... a wipes case with cowboy fabric... a similac can covered in cowboy fabric... and a bouquet of "roses" that was made out of washcloths.

Im trying to quit smoking. Im doing really great! I had two cigarettes ALL yesterday. Today I had only ONE. Im so proud of myself...considering I smoked a pack a day since I was 16...

So im catchin up on some recorded Jon and Kate episodes that I have on my DVR.... and I think I realized why I think im attracted to Jon. I think its cause hes soo passive and just takes whatever from Kate. or maybe im just attracted to fat bald guys... hahahaha I crack myself up. Im so kidding I absolutely adore my husband but he seems to think im attracted to fat bald guys.... or atleast he tells me that.

Ok well its really late and I need to get goin to bed.

Fun day!

So today was like every other day.... until we got to talk to Daddy when he called! After we got off the computer with each other Braydey and I went to Hobby Lobby to pick up some crafting goods! I was inspired by this:




So I went out and got the supplies to do it... I found the frames on sale in the 66% off section! and bought some spray paint and transformed them into some beauties! Im just tired of the room just looking like blah. Next on the list is a Headboard. When I get the room cleaned up and get the letters hung on the wall I will take a pic and post it : )



I would say that project was a success. Also today I made another bow holder for Emmalynn my new neice. I made it out of one of Braydey's old snack cans! I never knew how you could save just about ANYTHING and transform it into something WAY cute.




Crafting and Hobby Lobby have completely taken over my life!

Tomorrow Braydey and I are gonna go to Hobby Lobby again I need to pick up the supplies to make the "&" for the room and then to HEB to shop for things for the Bake Sale : ) I'm WAYYY too excited about this bake sale and I hope we make lots of moneys! I am going to make:

• Rainbow Cupcakes
• Chocolate Covered Snow Peaks
• Cake Balls
• And Banana Bread

Weird feeling day!

So Ive been reading soo many blogs.... because I just got into crafting so much and found some awesome blogs! They inspired me to start one, I figured I could use it to "vent" and my husband could keep up with me and things Brayden and I are doing while he is deployed.

So here goes my first entry:

Today started off bad. I could not find me keys for the life of me... I turned my house UP SIDE DOWN, and then I cleaned it speak and span just to make sure I checked everywhere. I figured Brayden took off with them (because he does that a lot.) And it doesnt help that he couldnt tell me where they were! So i figured oh well Ill try again tomorrow and I just looked in the diaper bag ONE last time to quadruple check and there they were hidden in a pocket I never use! So I got Braydey man ready and we went to my mom's house because she had invited me over earlier in the day. My brother and his girlfriend were there and they grilled NY strip steak, hotdogs, chicken.... so we ate and all that good stuff and Braydey played with his cousins. I think everyone in America grills on Memorial Day. We came home and my phone freaked out and I got all the texts and messages that EVERYONE had sent me for the day at once and then died.... Its been acting up lately...Im starting to not like Iphones. After I bathed Braydey and got him down for a nap I got my sour punch straws and kicked back in my recliner to watch the new Jon & Kate + Eight show!

Oh it was great. I bawled at times... I have been so emotional lately and I dont know why... It really upsets me to think they are getting a divorce. They have such beautiful children! Oh and Jon is a little cute : ) I guess the reason why I cried was because I really miss MY family. I really miss not having my husband here just to do everyday things with Brayden and I.

On another note... Im in the process of making some cute things! Right now im trying to make some cute flower bows. Ill post a pic when im finished!

Ok time to go searching on the internet for more crafty things to try out!
